Hello,
i have added some materials to my GeoDict material database (for GeoDict2023). I also added some content to existing materials like water (I added the surface tension in the Metadata tab).
When I tried to save it, I got a message saying that it was an old version of GeoDict2023 and that this might cause problems with newer versions.

How can I update the text files for the materials to a new version without losing my added data?

Hello,
In macros, all parameters are fixed — including the 'RandomSeed'. How can I use macros (including vary macros) with randomly distributed random seeds? I would like to use the entire valid range of RandomSeeds.

I am still using GeoDict2025.

Hello Lilli,
I assume that the pressure I can define on individual steps in ElastoDict is a static pressure that is effective throughout the entire calculation area. How can I define a pressure drop across a pleat that I have created with PleatGeo?

I would like to calculate the flow through a deformed fold. Can FlowDict and ElastoDict be coupled for this purpose? Or is there another option?

thanks for your reply. I tested the GeoApp - but it is not exactly what I want.

Is there a possibility to reassign only a part of a material? E.g. material 02 for x < 200 voxels?

Or is it possible to reassign only visible voxels? then I could hide some materials and use the clipping sliders in the structure tab to hide/display the voxels I want to reassign.

I have multiple materials in a structure and would like to clip them at different values in x direction. In the  3D view I like to see material01 in the foreground , material 01 and 02 in the middle and all materials in the background. Is that possible?

I would like to add a description to a result file (FlowDict and Filterdict). I run the modules with a Python macro. Is it possible to define a description in the args dictionary? If not, how can I define the description after the run?
