Title: Difference between Without Fiber Overlap and Prohibit Fiber Overlap
Post by: Tabea Sterbak on May 28, 2021, 12:24:51 PM
Hi,
In the FiberGeo Create Options there is the "Generation and Overlap Mode" Section.
I was wondering what the difference between Without Fiber Overlap and Prohibit Fiber Overlap is?
Looking forward to your answer,
Tabea

Hi Tabea,
The underlying algorithms: "Prohibit ..." creates non-overlapping fibers directly, while "Without ..." creates overlapping fibers first and removes the overlap afterwards. In most cases, "Without..." is better: Faster + higher SVF possible.
